“Tani’s imagination is a perpetual motion-machine, restless and relentless, always in pursuit of a rare aesthetic that balances between the framed and the fluid, between painting and sketch, that magically manages to capture the elusive beauty of cinema and the tension of the transfixed motion.  We have been dazzled by the work he has done for us and can’t wait to see what he does for himself.”
